The College adheres to the standardised school year as agreed between the Department of Education and Skills and school management bodies.
Closing dates are as follows:
| Mid term | Closed from 30th October – 3rd November, inclusive |
| Christmas | Close Friday, 22nd December 2023
Re-open Monday, 8th January 2024 |
| St Bridget’s Day | Closed Monday, 5th February 2024 |
| Mid term | Closed from 12th February – 16th February inclusive (unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures) |
| St Patrick’s Day | Closed Monday, 18th March 2024 |
| Easter | Close Friday,22nd March – Re-open Monday,8th April (unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures) |
| Summer Holidays | Close Friday, 31st May 2024 |
For most courses, work will need to be completed and submitted for assessment by mid May, while for others work will continue into June.
February mid-term break and Easter holidays may change to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures.
