This course is designed for adults and Post Leaving Certificate students who wish to pursue a career in the early years sector. Graduates are successful in seeking employment in pre-schools, creches or other childcare settings.
Garda vetting is a requirement as part of this course.
Employability Statement
The successful completion of Early learning and care year one lead to year two of the course and qualifying as an advanced practitioner; or exiting the course at Level 5 enables applicants to source employment in the Early Years or Special Needs Sector in a range of skill areas to include- Classroom assistant, AIM worker, Childminder, Early Years Practitioner and Assistants working with children.
