For Whom
This course is for those interested in training for a career in film and television. It is a one year full time programme designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop their film-making skills with particular emphasis on practical hands on production skills. The programme offers students the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to work effectively in this exciting and vibrant industry. Students on this programme will have access to the College’s state of the art iMac computer suite equipped with the very latest software used in industry. Students also have access to professional standard audio and video recording equipment.
Employability Statement
This course builds on the knowledge gained at level 5 and the opportunities to find work which in television studios, on film sets and on location. Many graduates find freelance work as videographers, post production editors, directors, camera operators, producers and a wide variety film an television production roles.
